Meet Mrs. Kaltz
I was born and raised in Richmond, Michigan, where I was one of six children. I had a wonderful childhood where I attended St. Augustine's Catholic School K-8 and Richmond High School. I went on to Oakland University where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education degree. I have also earned endorsements specializing in Mathematics and Language Arts. I graduated from Oakland University in 2008, and began my adventure with New Haven Community Schools while teaching summer school. This is my 9th year teaching at New Haven Elementary. I also graduated from Saginaw Valley State University as a K-12 Literacy Specialist in May 2016.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy being with my husband and sons. I am a mother to two beautiful boys, Lane and Carter. We enjoy being outdoors, going up north to our parents' places in West Branch and Gladwin, and spending time with our families. We also enjoy being home on our little farm. For fun, we cut firewood for a local campground.
